True Blood

What a episode last night.  It was like the book especially the beginning but after that it was different.  I loved the humor of Eric, that was like the book.  Eric's personality is much more modern and he flirts more in the book.  Bill's more subservient to Eric in the book then in the series.  Eric is the regions sheriff and Bill is just an underling.  I really am enjoying the HBO series and can't wait for the next episode.

best place to buy your books

There are times when the authors I usually read have nothing new out so I go to a local used book store, The Bookworm, in Boulder.  They have a wide assortment of books.  There used hardback novels are half the price of Borders or Barnes and Nobles.  I know many people go through Amazon.com to buy there books but I'm more tactile.  I like to actually read parts of the book and feel the paper bound there in the store.  Paperback novels are 2/3 off the original price.  I like watch there a glancing at the stacks of books on the floor.  So if your like me, go to your local used book store to buy a book from a unknown author.

Laurell K Hamilton novels

I am an avid reader of Anita Blake series by Laurell K Hamilton. I just finish reading her lastest paperback novel, Blood Noir. It was as usual very sexy especially at the begining of the book. She is persauded to have sex with her friend, Jason by her lover, Nathaniel. The story line was different then usual because there was hardly any violence. She accompanies Jason back home to South Carolina to visit his dying father. Jason and his father are estranged. Anita pretends she his girlfriend. Anita Blake was getting to be an irritant to me because she never seemed to grow in maturity. In this book she shows her vulnerability and sensitive side to Jason. They talk alot in this book. She doesn't show her usual self until the end when she kills afew vampires. I recommend it to any Anita Blake readers.

True Blood episode 2

Hey, tonight is episode 2.  Will Lafayette be Eric's next kill or will be tortured first?  What/who did Sookie see in the woods?  Will she be hurt like in the book?  Will Tara spend the night with Eggs?  That relationship was all ready there in the book but falls apart by the end.  It takes so long for the story to develop in the tv so I become inpatient.  Episode 1 had many things going on that I know it will be the same tonight.

True Blood season 2

Just watch the first episode to True Blood and was it ever exciting.  I have read all of Charlaine Harris's Sookie books and at first didn't enjoy the series.  But I thought it should be like the books.  Well that's Hollywood changing everything they get their hands on.  So I decided to just enjoy it with no preconceived notions.  I now love it!  Were you taken by surprise to find the murder victim wasn't Lafayette but that voodoo woman Jeanette?  Jason did a turn about with becoming a member of the Fellowship of the Sun.  And what's up with that girl Bill turned?  Where are they going with that character?  Can't wait until next episode!
